I was making abyssal titan pouches to get rid of those charms for good when I saw RS number one hunter:

Then I packed up and went under Brimhaven to range more red dragons. I met up with my summoning friend, who was also down there killing red dragons. He showed me his schmexy cape and we chatted a bit before he returned to the other side of the cavern. Things were going well. I was getting more kills than expected and felt very good about how things were going when I saw a “ruby” drop.

Anxiously, I hurried to fill my pack before leaving (yes, I want those hides) for the closest hatchery. Yanille, here I come. I placed the crimson-shelled egg into the incubator, noted the time (4:02p) and left to do …something. I admit, I kept returning every 5 minutes to see if it had hatched, but Jagex kept telling me to come back later. It IS later, dammit, now gimme my frikkin’ egg! >:[ The game is conspiring against me. How long does it take anyway? Someone must know. The absolute best estimate came from RS Wiki, which said it may take 30 minutes to 12 hours for an egg to hatch. Oh fuck me! I can’t be waiting all day for this baby dragon. Fine, whatever. I’ll go do something constructive but don’t think I won’t be keeping an eye on this pet shop.
Woodcutting looked good. There’s ivy on Yanille’s north wall. Oh goody, there are already 4 people cutting it. Think, Kitt, what can you do quickly that can be easily interrupted to check on the egg? Oooo, runecrafting. I haven’t done that in a really long time and I can use more laws and bloods. I did that for an hour, checking the egg every 20 minutes. At 5:40p, I check the incubator and poof, there’s a baby red dragon in my lap.

We toddled off to the fishing guild where I would catch sharks while Lil Red watched the ducks in the water. He’d get very excited at seeing free food and would attempt to dive into the water to nibble the ducks. I’d catch him and tuck him under my arm like a rugby ball. His butt wiggles when he’s desperate for a swim, so I knelt on the docks and carefully leaned him over the edge. He’ll chomp on a duck or ducklings passing beneath us, then growl fiercely and make me laugh.
While fishing, a pmod started talking and got many poking at him/her about how s/he got to be a mod and working for Jagex. This line slipped in unnoticed expect by me:
